About Us
"The success of Dolce Neve is Determined by the Success of Our Clients"
What does "Dolce Neve" mean? This is a common question from many of our curious customers. "Sweet Snow" came from the origination of the business when Dolce Neve supplied Organic Granita Blends to local Sonoma County
Cafes and Restaurateurs.
In 1994 Jay Kistner founded Dolce Neve
with his passion for artisanal food and beverages. Dolce Neve emerged just as the world of espresso
and gourmet coffee migrated south from the Pacific Northwest becoming popular in
Sonoma County. Jay's hard work and passion for the Culinary Arts established the
foundation for the reputation of Dolce Neve ranking amongst the top Beverage
Equipment Service Companies in the nation The staff of experienced and hard-working individuals who together amass over 40 years of Espresso & Coffee knowledge,
allow Dolce Neve to offer top of the line Espresso & Coffee Equipment and Gourmet Products.
Nestled in the heart of Sonoma and Napa counties with the famous Food & Wine Industry booming, Espresso and Coffee lovers can now find
a world of different coffee varietals from many local micro-roasters. Many of which boast some of the most delicate flavors that can be found from the Organic, Fair Trade, or Sustainably Farmed beans
grown around the world.
Dolce Neve's appreciation for the Fine
Art of Coffee and Espresso preparation is the foundation on which our company is built.
Our culinary background allows us to appreciate the care taken by the roaster from their selection of quality beans in the "green state" to the precise blending and roasting of their product. Our technical knowledge enables us to compliment the distinct art of roasting with an optimal form of extraction. Our goal is to complete the process from roaster to palette while maintaining the roaster's flavor profile.
We believe the roaster's art should never be compromised by
un-calibrated equipment or lack of training. As Such, we offer (at no cost) an
introductory machine diagnostic and calibration to your roaster's
specifications. While we're there, we'll answer any questions your staff may
have on equipment operation and technique.
Our Service department is unmatched in response time. We know that when your
machines are down our production halts. In our effort to minimize your
downtime, we are on-call 24 hours a day; 7 days a week. We stock and
maintain a full line of replacement parts., further reducing downtime due to
